Reunion day 2 - race day
The nice thing about this kind of festivals is, that you meet a lot of old friends and every time you make some new. This morning we had a very nice chat with friends of friends who were in our hotel too. We could have sat there for hours but yesterday the Glemseck 101 people asked us to be there around 10.
Today was race day. We were invited to join the Zenith Europe sprint. This was a friendship 1/8 mile sprint Europe vs. Italy.
The first challenge was to bring the bikes into the festival area. We had to organize the bracelets first. In only 1/2 of an hour this was fixed and we were in.
Before the race we met friends and joined the flat track race area where Marco Belli was training people in his energizing manner. We did that last year and it was big fun.
When race time came up, we were pretty nervous, this was our first time on the race track, but we had great fun in the end.
In the training run Manu was shocking us when she almost crashed into the flag girl when she was lurching around in the start area - but like she was told, she never stopped speeding and went back on track.
Rebecca's runs went smooth but the Ducati of her rival was just way too fast.
Uller was starting great but he ignored the flag girl Laura obviously and started too early.

Around 6 we left the area, went back to the hotel, loaded bikes back into the bus and started our way back home with a stopover at Lago Maggiore.
Bye Monza ✌
