Roadtrip day 6 (Tremp - Jaca)
The sun. Finally! Having breakfast under blue skies is just great. We only planned our first 150km. There we set our decision point to decide where we would go to today, depending on the weather.
After half an hour on nice roads we saw many vultures in the air and stopped, fascinated by their size and majesty.
We then saw, that about 30 of them sat on an edge, another 10 in the trees and it smelled like there was a waste dump. That was actually the reason they were there. Looking for some old meat. Yummy.... 🍗
We set up the camera and used that opportunity for taking some pictures of vultures flying around. After half an hour it was getting warm and we continued our trip.
The next 50km were great again. Best roads in good condition, great curves. 👍
Then again some drops fell and we made a stop at a gas station to have a drink and some tasty orange peels in dark chocolate. 5 minutes after starting again, we got into rain. So we had to put the rain stuff on again ⚡☔ grrrrr...
On the other side of the pass it already stopped raining but the streets were still wet.
At our decision point we decided, that we will only go to Jaca today and asked at the camping if we can arrive one day earlier. For the way to Jaca we choose the more boring streets due to the weather.
It's great arriving at 6 and having time to sit in the sun 🌞 (actually the weather turned great shortly before Jaca and it would have been clever to use that to make more kilometers in the sun than tomorrow in heavy rain).
210km today.
