Travel day (Varano - Arles)

We got up early today to pack everything back into the bus and leave to Arles (Provence, France) which is half way down to Biarritz. Initially we planned to have a stop at the same beach as last year (only 2 curves from the highway and you are sitting in a wonderful beach bar at the ligurian cost) but... it was raining cats and dogs. No beach. Just driving in the rain. In between we saw loads of motorcycles driving in the rain and were quite lucky we are not (yet) getting wet. This will come soon enough :-/

Some Spanish motorcyclers gave us the rest of their lunch. They were in the way back to Valencia coming from Mugello where they have been watching the MotoGP race. What a distance back home and all on the highway!

Now we arrived in Arles, have a nice hotel and will go and visit the old town and have dinner. And go to bed early as we are really tired today.
