Wheels and Waves day 1

Today wheels and waves started. And it started chaotic. The information was that the village opens at 9am so we went there at 11 to do some shopping. But having arrived we learned that they didn't make it so they open at 3pm. So no village for us today. We started to punks peak race late and saw the last races. Now that we started ourselves at a sprint race you look at it differently and this sprint is for sure not an easy one with two curves in it. And they didn't start with a flag but with a pistol shot. And the left hand had to be on the helmet until you hear the shot.

After the race we met Elena and Imanol (friends of us) at San Sebastian for some tapas and then went back to the artride which did not open at 12 as communicated as breaking news today but at 7 as initially planned.

The artride was nice but smaller than last year and with far less visitors.
Ulrich had a foto shooting with BMW France who were collecting shots of authentic BMW owners.

Also we met some friends again like Ivan and Ben.

So we had a really nice day, not to forget that it was sunny today!

Looking forward to seeing the village tomorrow...
